About Chuck Dupree
Chuck Dupree is the founder and president of Dupree Construction, a custom homebuilder established in 1986 that has become a trusted name in the Baton Rouge area. Chuck is a third-generation contractor who began his career after moving to Baton Rouge to study construction management at LSU. From the company’s earliest days, he has focused on quality design, thoughtful planning, and strong client collaboration—principles that continue to guide every project.
Under Chuck’s leadership, Dupree Construction has earned a reputation for dependable craftsmanship and long-lasting homes. His hands-on approach and attention to detail are hallmarks of the company’s work, and his commitment to service extends beyond construction to building enduring relationships with clients. In recognition of his leadership, industry impact, and commitment to excellence, Chuck was honored as the 2024 Builder of the Year by the Home Builders Association of Greater Baton Rouge—one of the association’s highest distinctions.
